So it should be a perfect life for him, right? I mean, what can even stop this guy!?
Unfortunately for him, the main thing he's assigned to fight every single day requires him to work with other people...the one thing he struggles with.
And despite just graduating, his first mission will teach him more than The Ark ever could.

Summary
Humanity lost the war one hundred years ago, and now they live underground, trapped in a single arcology. They still pretend that they are at war. They still send out their once proud cybernetic Goddesses of Victory, claiming that they are still holding the line and claiming that one day the surface will once more belong to humanity. But they are lying. The Nikke, once a proud symbol of humanity's power and the zenith of cybernetic technology, is now nothing more than the name of a disposable weapon, manufactured only to maintain the illusion of a war effort against a foe that has only grown stronger and exponentially more numerous.
And then a commander was linked to some unknowable cosmic entity, who is now in the process of granting him phenomenal cosmic powers one perk at a time.
So really, it's anyone's game.

Hell. This is the world I find myself in. They call it the Ark, a place of humanity's refuge from the Raptures that have claimed the surface. A paradise sanctuary, where mankind can survive and reclaim the surface. Even for humanity, that is a lie, as thousands live in squaller in the Out Rim, and everywhere else, the Central Government rules, grinding away humanity in an unending war to reclaim what was lost. Worst of all is the treatment of Nikke's, the Goddesses of Victory. Human-like machines, piloted by the brains of girls and young women, are the only ones that can fight Raptures and have a chance of coming out alive. Despite them sacrificing themselves for humanity, they are treated like second-class citizens, hated by the general public, and used as scapegoats. All the while their Commanding officers, whom a Nikke cannot disobey, treat them as nothing more than expendable weapons and tools, throwing away resources into a meat grinder that the Ark can scarcely afford.
This is the world I find myself in. One where my very humanity is denied. Where I'm forced to do a job I never wanted, putting my life on the line for people who hate me. In a world where the last bell of hope has already rung.

This picks up from Dorothy's character bond story part four (The Things That Should Be Said), and expanded into a hopefully immersive series. I have been looking to try and create my own fan fiction for a while, and my eyes fixated on Dorothy, as I really want her to have a happy ending, as I truly believe there is hope for her.
