Summary
Every Wednesday, at exactly 9:39 PM, a beat up van swerved into the Family Video parking lot. It would park in the same two spots (yes, two because it nearly always had at least one wheel fully over the line and intruding into the other spot) and the occupant would sit in his car for about a minute with the engine on, the front windows down, and the music blasting just loud enough for Steve to hear from behind the counter. Then, he’d turn off the ignition, hop out, close the door with a little double tap, stub his cigarette out beneath the toe of his sneaker, and at 9:41 exactly, he’d walk through the double doors, the chains dangling from his belt jingling in tandem with the bell, and glance in Steve's direction before turning away to wander down the rows in search of a movie to rent.
It took everything in Steve not to bang his head against the fucking register every time he saw him.
AKA, Steve Harrington can't stand Eddie Munson. From the rumors of satanism, to the drug dealing, to his infuriating personality, Eddie just seems like trouble. But, as the pair are forced to spend time near one another, feelings of disdain quickly change into a mutual liking. And, to both the boys dismay, deep attraction.

Summary
The word slut is in red. It’s all he sees when he sees Nancy again, when she slaps him, when Jonathan inches up behind her to drag her away. When he sees her leave with him, he sees the words he says in red. Queer. Screw-up. Father.
When he gets punched in the face, he feels them in red too. They feel bright, even when he runs, even when his guilt remains like a message in blood at the crime scene, dripping in Tommy’s cruel handwriting. Byers. Perv.
Or, the one where Steve's life was miserable and complicated even before Jonathan Byers was ever a part of it.

Summary
Steve's got a routine. Go to the trailer park, buy the weed, drive home, smoke, and finally, finally, finally get some semblance of sleep.
Except tonight when Eddie opens the door to his trailer, three things are different.
One: it looks like a bomb made of paper, dice, and mini figurines has gone off inside.
Two: Eddie is only half dressed, standing there in his tight black boxers and a metal band shirt with the sleeves cut off down to his ribs.
Three: Eddie is actively smoking, and exhales a puff of smoke in Steve’s general direction as he swings the door open.

Harringrove week 2022 prompt - Invite Only at Family Video
Robin and Steve finally get Keith to agree to a private movie night. They’d kept the list relatively small - Vickie, Lucy and Anna from school, Nancy and Jonathan, Eddie and Chrissy, Heather, Barb, and a few others from their collective high school years. She’d seen the list. She’d written the list. No way was Billy Hargrove on it.

Summary
Steve Harrington caves in to do something he never would have done, when he realizes he's losing contact with his younger friends: he joins them to watch a session of D&D. Surprisingly, D&D isn't what interests him the most. Eddie Munson, a person he has come to care about during their brief time spent together fighting unbearable monsters, ignites something unknown within him, which sends Steve spiraling down a path of over-analyzing every single little interraction they have. Suddenly Steve finds himself in Eddie's trailer, somehow seeing every single side Munson has to offer in one night.
--
A 13k word story about Steve Harrington's journey to accept his own feelings, while Eddie Munson is scared to admit his own.--
NOTE: this is written pre s4 part 2, so it might not fit the canon of the show after the 1st of july 2022! -

Summary
Steve was going to spend all of Valentine's Day moping around his shared apartment with Robin... because he was sad and destined to be alone for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, Robin was planning some big date night with Heather... and there was no way she was going to let Steve ruin it by hanging around the apartment all night. Which was messed up because like... it was his apartment too.
But she threatened him, and he caved and... she'd printed him out all these fliers for some blind-date... losers event. Thing. And hell, why not? Maybe it would be kind of nice to spend Valentine's day with someone who was just as alone as he was...
