Summary
After Megatron disappeared on board the Orion in search of the Allspark, Orion and his crew scramble to balance commanding the remaining Decepticon forces while looking for him.
Relief is palpable when Orion and his crew receive word that the crashed Nemesis has been located and they set off to lead the search personally on Earth. Orion will have to balance keeping the larger Decepticon presence a secret while dealing with the Orion's crew and the local organics.
A sequel to Those Abandoned, but can easily be read before it since everything that has happened since then is explained in the first chapter.

The Decepticons are fighting to get to the alspark first. But what happens when Starscream notices something about the Autobot Soldiers they were fighting, that derails his plans of taking over. Instead runs back to the Decepticons to tell them the shocking news. Suddenly the Decepticons are avioding the Autobots at all cost. Until a Sertant blue mech land on earth cuasing the Autobot issues.

It was the little things that got him; the face Ratchet made when he didn’t like the way someone prepared his energon, how he always walked on the tips of his stabilizing servos when the floor was cold, the angle at which he tilted his helm back and allowed a crooked smile to take over his rough lips when something was especially funny, the way he bounced his leg up and down when he was anxious, the way he refused to look at anyone when he was sad or upset.
Because with every upturned nasal and scrunched up optical ridge that Optimus had gotten for putting too much sweetener in Ratchet’s energon, with every complaint he’d gotten about having the AC on too low of a temperature, with every laugh he’d gotten for one of his dry quips, with every soft look he’d gotten for resting a servo on top of Ratchet’s knee to keep him from bouncing his leg, and with every sob of Ratchet’s he’d muffled with a shoulder plate in the midst of a tight hug, he fell in love a little more.

Summary
Optimus Prime and Megatron have become a couple, and neither Ratchet nor Strika are happy about it. Sadly, it's not like the two idiots will ever listen to reason (or to them, which is basically the same thing if you were asking them), so what are two concerned friends to do?
Put asides their differences and put their foot down to try and install a few basic rules about this whole 'dating' thing, for one.

All cybertronians have ingrained in their very sparks an absolute repulsion towards hurting sparklings and a base need to protect and care for them. This is standard to most species, though cybertronians seem to feel it more than others; a command rather than a request. This is perhaps nature’s way of ensuring that the few sparklings that come into the world remain safe and cared for. It is logical. However, no one expected sparkling protocols to take over when cybertronians first came in contact with humans. Perhaps humans and cybertronians are more closely related than first thought.

Blurr? They suspect Blurr of being the spy? Deadend designed to be the most inconspicuous character in the entire Nemesis crew. All suspicion was meant to fall on Goldbug, not him. This is not what they planned.
“Are you sure? I mean– I mean, not that I’m doubting you, sir! It’s just, why would you tell me?”
Shockwave tilts his head, red optic burning into his own.
“I have a task for you, Goldbug. I’d like you to confirm my suspicions. You have proven to me that you can be trusted, and you have displayed actions proving your loyalty. Your task is to gather sufficient evidence of Deadend's treachery and to report back to me. When the time is right, Deadend will be executed, and you will rise in the ranks. If you succeed, you will be rewarded sufficiently for your efforts. Does this sound acceptable?”

Bumblebee and Blurr are spies aboard the Nemesis. Shockwave notices this and decides to play a game with them. This ends up being a mistake, as soon he finds that he actually adores one of the spies he's trying to evicerate.
