“As some of you heard, the queen is sick!” The guard reads, “Under a curse, an illness brought by the humans.”
Tommy knows this is bullshit! Humans can’t curse people.
“Years ago, Humans too got this illness, but they had a cure. We are quickly trying to find anything in the scrap yard, but please be patient as there will be no festival this year.” There's some murmuring around the crowd as he says this, it’s clear this is a punch to their morale. “Looking at some books, the kingdom has called this, the flu.”
The flu? The fucking flu? That's all she has? No cancer or tumors? Man, this is bullshit.
Tommy goes to walk away, clearly upset that the kingdom is on standby that's to the fucking flu. He stops, hearing the guard speak again.
“We are talking to the humans we collected this year, seeing if they know a cure for this sickness, as of now, they aren’t cooperating-” the crowd riots and boos people scream.
“Of course, humans are heartless” someone yells “They’d like to see our downfall, wouldn’t they?” Tommy scoffs, of course we won't help, you guys were going to banish us a week from now, selfish bastards.
