Cody admits to being very confused right now.
He hasn’t heard from the Coruscant Guard, from Fox, in almost two years, and now, suddenly, he’s being sent a Priority Message? That’s a video stream of some sort?
It’s very odd.
But he wouldn’t be the Marshal Commander of the Third Systems Army if he didn’t collect all the information he could.
So he went to his little office on board the Negotiator, sent a comm to his batch about the video, and settled in to watch a boring stream of Fox going about his duties at the Senate Dome.
Nothing exciting.

Midoriya Izuku does not become the first quirkless hero.

He flinches away, face burning bright, and ignores the way Keith’s fingers are curling around his own, the way his palm settles hot and heavy in his hands. Figures Keith would get straight to the point, no beating around the bush required, the asshole. He doesn’t get how he can be so straightforward like that. He contemplates making a break for it, but settles for nodding shakily instead, figuring the damage is already done.
