    Summary

    Johnny has suddenly gone missing.

Daniel grows curious as to where he could have gone, leading him into the ominous forest he can’t remember if it ever existed until now.

Something is wrong when Daniel can’t find his way out of the darkening forest for hours.

When Daniel approaches a small clearing, he walks out to find he is in Encino.

Suspicions arise when there are no morning runners, no car traffic, no one. Empty, void of anything living, until he notices Johnny outside of his house.

Daniel has to make sense of a world that consists of only the two of them, and they fall in love in the process.

Alternate Universe: Daniel and Johnny end up in an eerily familiar world that looks just like the valley but they are the only ones there.

    Summary

The worst part is Johnny had driven home thinking he was going to find dinner all done, be able to slump on the sofa like a real lazy piece of shit and stuff his face, but Daniel has the nerve to be at some country club thing Johnny totally forgot about until he got through the door. He still ends up on the sofa staring blankly at the television for a few minutes, ticking back and forth on the stupid tiny remote, then throws it to the side and props his head back against the cushions.

“Robby!” Johnny shouts into the depths of the house. “You home!?”

“Yeah,” Robby answers, voice echoing from the back deck, quiet but clear.

Johnny turns his head against the cushion to aim his next shout toward the back door. “You already eat?”

“…Why?” Robby asks, after a few beats, in that tone of maybe, but what are you offering?

In the months after the 1984 All-Valley Tournament, Johnny and Daniel overcome personal challenges and forge a new path for themselves after high school.

This diverges greatly from canon after the ending of Karate Kid 1.

The boy knelt by his side, his lumpy knees sinking into the sand. And he was beautiful. Prettier than the girl at the front desk of the hotel.

Jesus fucking Christ. Prettier than Ali.

Johnny's hand flew up to his neck. He pinched his fingers around the small golden cross resting against the dip of his clavicles, his tongue prickling with the taste of metal and salt.

    Summary

In which Daniel and Johnny had made peace with each other after The All Valley tournament. They had been avoiding getting into fights and also been ignoring each other. Everything was going well, just like it used to be.

Until one day while leaving the library late for his assignment, Johnny finds Daniel lying on the stairs, trying to get back up with a bad knee and a twisted ankle. And of course he had to carry him to his car and drive him home, he was feeling guilty after all.

But one thing leads to another and Johnny finds himself getting help from LaRusso for his assignment: A paper on The Epic of Gilgamesh. The Epic of Gilgamesh, a.k.a the oldest book known in history of mankind and also the most homosexual text one could ever read.

Rainy afternoons in the library with LaRusso, working on a lame ass assignment shouldn’t be that fun, right? Wrong. Johnny was very, very wrong.

    ---

“Most sources say Gilgamesh and Enkidu have a homoerotic relationship.” Daniel said as he flipped through the pages."

      “Homo-what?”

      “Homoerotic.”

Daniel rolled his eyes when he saw that Johnny was still looking at him with confused eyes.

      “They are gay, Johnny.”
