Grace has long since found his happy ending, comfortably settled on Erid with his mates Rocky and Adrian and their pebbles, he’s content to spend his days taking slow walks on the beach and teaching science to young Eridians.

It made him feel, for the first time in a long time, that he was taking too much from someone else. Lars was usually always the giver. He liked being the giver; it was comfortable.
