Summary
Choi Beomgyu grew up as a child actor--famous, good at his roles. Now that he's an adult, he's criticized for his inability to play adult parts. When he's cast as a detective in an action-mystery movie created by an up-and-coming director, he wants to prove he's still as good an actor as an adult.
So he decides to shadow Choi Soobin, a detective in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department, hoping to learn a thing or two about how detectives act and think. Anything for the role, even if it means annoying a law enforcement officer.

Chenle pressed a chaste kiss to Kun’s stubbled cheek, grinned against the skin. “I’ll stop being selfish when you stop giving me what I want. Make me dinner, Kun.”
Kun breathed out, stuttering and shallow.
When Chenle stepped back, Kun walked over to the fridge, his shoulders tight. “What do you want to eat?”
Chenle leant over the counter, the marble cool beneath his hands. “Surprise me.”
But that was impossible for Kun. He was beautifully, painfully predictable.

Third year of good night texts, expensive coffee shop dates, and matching jewellery.

Chenle lets out a low whistle. “They’re basically married now, huh? You’re shit out of luck.”
