Raul steps out on his own, needing some time to himself. He heads off to a little neighborhood outside of Vegas that he assumes will only have a couple of scavvers, raiders at the most. He's mistaken, though, as a larger and more dangerous threat rears its head, looming around the ruins.

I know I have other fics to work on, but impulsively writing this during the month leading up to my finals has been free therapy keeping my brain from literally melting.
An internship in the LAPD forensics department proves to have some very interesting opportunities for the reader. It's not long before she's dragged far deeper into her work than her job description entailed... Suddenly, she's out lending her bizarre know-how to a very particular Lieutenant, but she isn't really complaining. He's an interesting fellow, and proves to be a very good friend, all-in-all.

While leaving the grocery store Yor notices the scent of blood and gunpowder. Her curiosity drives her to investigate, and what she finds will completely upend her life.
*Rated M for the violence. Yor does some murder, and while I don't include a whole lot of details, those I do include are rather specific and brutal. I don't think it's all that graphic, and it really doesn't take up much of the page-time, but I figured I'd air on the side of caution.
