Steve furrows his brows, leans his head back when Carol comes closer, brandishing the lipstick in her hand like a tiny knife.
“Hold still, Stevie,” she says and reaches for his chin with her free hand, “or do you want me to mess this up?”
“Yes?” Steve says, because that would be less embarrassing, he thinks? It’s bad enough that he’s going through with it, everyone’s going to see him like this, but it would be even worse if they thought he let them do it to him willingly.
Or: Steve loses a bet, his sanity, and, uh, his ‘virginity’ all in one night. (Of course it’s all Hargrove’s fault.)

Summary
The first time was in November, months ago.
Like, two weeks tops after Billy rearranges Harrington’s face on that creepy house’s living room floor. The bruises are still there, faded, yeah, but still visible, dark splotches around his eyes and nose and mouth, brands of Billy’s fists, clear evidence that Billy’s king, now, that Steve Harrington's been, blinking and shaking and teary-eyed, demoted to princess.
And yet.
And yet, fucking Harrington didn’t get the message, even though it’s written all over his fucking face, and Billy’s seething.
Or: what to do when you're all worked up from basketball practice and Steve Harrington's there and willing. (Fall kinda in love, of course, but fight it all the way down.)

“Single rider! One boat for a single rider!”
Steve slashed his hands through the air, checking over his shoulder at the thinning crowd, most of them thankfully ignoring the scene beside the unpopular ride in favor of scarfing down their corn dogs and funnel cakes.
“Oh my god, Keith. Could you keep it down, please?”
Keith slurped on his big gulp, eyeing Steve up and down before pitching his voice somewhere just above front row at a KISS concert.
“One boat for one lonely single rider!”
Steve flipped him off with a tight smile as he climbed into the rickety little boat, flopping down with a sigh. At least he was off his feet. The kids had run him ragged all over the carnival and he just wanted a minute of peace and quiet.
The old, neglected “Tunnel of Love” ride was perfect.
Except for fucking Keith.
“Single rid—Ow! Not cool, man!”
Steve looked back over his shoulder to see Keith rubbing his arm as none other than Billy Hargrove climbed into the boat behind him, smirk firmly planted on his face.

Summary
Steve tumbles out of the gate, but instead of the dried out lake, he finds himself in Eddie's trailer. Dazed, upset and confused, he ventures into the upside-down, and instead of finding the three friends he'd last seen in the boat, he comes across another familiar face - Billy Hargrove, who appears to be a little less-than-human and looking for a good time and a ticket out of the hellhole he'd found himself in following his death.
