“And you’re not even nice to me! Is it so wrong that I—” he stops short, before saying in a small voice. “I think I need ya to be nice to me?”
Or
Fuckass siblings let’s go😭 That one family dynamic where actual communication only happens while someone cries and explains in detail what’s wrong with them because everybody intellectualizes their feelings there so they damn near already know why they’re upset. knowing everything about yourself and less than nothing about others? okay wrap it up

Zanka could swear he used to be better at this whole “controlling himself” thing. But hey, fighting geniuses must just bring that old spiteful spirit up in him.
Or he could think that, if not for the fact that that pissbaby(begrudgingly affectionate) Rudo only annoyed him insomuch as being incapable of following simple instructions. So what made Jabber different?
Well, he thought, annoyed. What *didn’t?*

“Motoya. He has a Kansai accent.” Kiyoomi replied, breathless.
“So? Most of their team does, I don’t – oh.” Motoya’s eyes widened and a grin appeared on his face when he realised. “That’s what does it for you?”
“Shut up, be quiet, literally kill yourself.” Kiyoomi covered his face with his hands. “I hate you.”
“Kiyoomi!” Motoya crowed joyfully. “Holy shit, I’ve gone years trying to learn who you find attractive and it’s Miya fucking Atsumu?”
“I’m going home.”
“No you’re not.” Motoya replied easily.
“I hate this.” Kiyoomi said, muffled into his hands.
“It’s okay, that’s how we all feel in the beginning.” Motoya patted his first shoulder. “It’s just your first crush, it’ll pass!”
It did not pass.

Bookmarker's Notes
only woman in the story is a scapegoat journalist who is immediately called a bitch for accent prejudice by a man to other men, but the fic is otherwise fantastic and very much worth rereading

Summary
This is about Atsumu growing into love and Sakusa being there to meet him
Sixteen treats Miya Atsumu like a bitch. His hair is just the wrong shade of mustard. His skills are just rusty enough to drive him crazy. Osamu is just stupid enough to announce he’s gonna stop volleyball after high school. His bed is too short for his now six-foot tall frame. His appetite is enormous. His love for volleyball is infinite. His thirst, the need to be something, anything, is unquenchable. Somewhere along the way, he went from a skinny little kid with fuel to burn, to a lanky teenager whose eye bags never seemed to fade, whose spark never seems to dim.
