For someone whose prophecy-assigned greatest strength is connecting to others, Anne certainly doesn't have many friends. Sure, she has the Plantars, but they're more like family. And sure she has Sasha and Marcy, but lately the word "friends" feels... off when it comes to them. Whatever the case, it's not easy for any of them to relate to other high schoolers after spending six months in another dimension together.
A party could be fun, right? (Spoiler: it's not. Or maybe it is, but for the wrong reasons.)
