Eddie sighed and rolled his eyes. “Yeah, well a minute ago I still thought this was just some place for you to get laid, not your home.” Steve winced. Eddie pretended he didn’t notice. “Plus, you didn’t give me those puppy dog eyes.”
Or: It's freezing. The heater in Steve's new trailer doesn't work. The one in Eddie's does.

He just doesn’t wholly approve of it, or think it’s a very good habit to have…while still doing it.
