Never to be read again... this bookmark is in loving memory of eren yeager and all of our inner children who we healed and integrated instead of taking lives. This world is cruel, so we fight, and we march on, but it's also beautiful and there is some pleasure to be found in simple things, like smoking and drinking with your friends or daydreaming about the possibility of being loved, being wanted. And he was. Eren yeager always was and always will be wanted and loved for simply existing. I will never stop loving or greiving this boy. Thank you...

Summary
They never had a chance to become something more, he and Armin. Eren didn’t even realise that he wanted to until it was too late. Until they both died suddenly and brutally, hopeless and separated without even catching a glimpse of the ocean they promised to see together. Despite what the poetry and films say, war tends to suck the romance out of everything.
Next time. Eren keeps convincing himself, praying that this lifetime isn’t his last.
