Summary
Sometimes, all it takes for the world to change...is a little timing. Suppose GUN found out that Gerald was jerking them around a little earlier, when Shadow wasn't as grown/developed? Suppose his escape pod was just damaged enough that GUN never found him, in all those years? What might he become, without Gerald's manipulations? What might he feel, younger and still bereaved? And what might he decide, in a little house by Never Lake, with the person who found him instead?
A look into how things might have gone for Shadow, if the worst day of his life hadn't been followed by GUN and Gerald each trying to outdo it. Rated T due to Maria's final moments, realistically described, and for references to emotional/psych abuse by Gerald to keep his medical experiment compliant.

Summary
The Sol Empire is a place of peace and plenty...most of the time. Summary
The world's greatest scientific genius (no matter what a certain upstart fox might try to imply) will soon be no more. The health of the Eggman Empire's central figure and most crucial genius is failing, and all attempts to forestall the inevitable have so far come to nothing. Ivo Robotnik is not long for this world, and as a growing feeling of inevitability outlines what the Doctor fears most - a disappointingly anticlimactic demise - the next steward of the Eggman Empire must be chosen. The Doctor has a clear candidate in mind, but Sage's succession is hardly a smooth road to walk; on this new and frightening path in life, she will face questions, complications, conflicts, and an unexpected - and unexpectedly literal - kindred spirit.

Summary
Noun: the edge, or borders, of a shadow. Having found himself in the sparkling distant future year of Shortly Before Sonic Frontiers Is Set, a half-eldritch hedgehog finds that no matter how reserved he might be, this new generation will insist on sneaking peeks past his mask. (Or, How I Spent Christmas Nosediving Into Shadamy Fandom And Emerged With Opinions About Why Shadow's Such A Stereotypical Edgehog.)
My second ever fic, and my first time writing for this fandom, which is frankly ridiculous of me given I've been a fan since 1992. Slow burn of personal walls coming down. References to in-universe mythology that I'm kinda headcanoning as I go, and not beta'd, so this may diverge from deep-lore details in places. Rated for references to Maria's fate, for the possible political implications, and for a few bad things (and one or two truly horrific things, see tags) in the pasts of others too.

Summary
Over 200 years after the events of the Sonic series we all know, the war between The Eggman Empire and The Freedom Fighters has long since ended, being nothing more than faint memories of the past. However, this band of Badniks apparently never got that memo, and following some long-standed commands, decide it is their perogative to reconnect with/restart the now dormant empire.
Follow the adventures of a trio of Badniks as they travel throughout the wastes in an attempt to find spare parts and materials to repair their equipment, come across various towns and their residents, and all the shenanigans such encounters may present!
(Originally intended to be a multi-chapter fic, may return to it at some point with the ideas I never got to do)

Stone really hasn't done much with his life.
At 32 all he's managed to do is get stuck in a dead-end office job, barely afford a small appartment, and that's it.Dreams of colour fade with time.
It's a world of gray, day in and day out.
Life's been a cycle of repetition, again and again.That's all thrown out the window when a strange hedgehog shows up at his appartment, introduces himself as the ultimate life form named Shadow, and tells him he's a witch.
Seeing the opportunity to trade gray for whatever it is witches do, Stone agrees to start his journey out into the world, find a town and becoming it's local witch.
There might just a few major hiccups along the way.
