Summary
The Sol Empire is a place of peace and plenty...most of the time. A life where he's fought mad scientists, travelled through time and being a freedom fighter. He may be a simple guy who loves adventure in his own words but the journey he's gone through is far from boring...

Summary

Sonic sees what being Infinite's plaything for six months does to one's mental psyche and trying to regain his lost sense of normalcy in a post-war Mobius.
“You don’t deserve to belong among them and you know it.”
Gadget joins the world famous Knothole Freedom Fighters hot off the heels of his wartime achievements and feeling the need to prove his own worth to his new teammates even though they're more than happy to have a young war hero on their team.
Both will find themselves be tested to their limits like never before. A tale of one hero reevaluating what he thought he knew about himself, one hero facing his own unwritten destiny and both overcoming the war within one's self as they try to go save the world or die trying.

The life of Vanilla Rabbott in the Sonic Reborn AU. In this universe, Sonic is born on Mobius in the Mobian year 1991. Mobians age roughly 1.3 times faster than humans. Making them legal adults at 15. This AU combines characters from different cannons, as a general rule of thumb the game cast are the characters we know and characters from supplemental material like Archie Sonic are their parent's generation.
Vanilla is raised in a noble conservative family. She lives a sheltered happy upbringing but craves exploration and the world beyond The Southern Baronies. She studies diligently and enrolls in university to pursue a career as an archeologist only to be swept off her feet by her charming professor Felix Lightfoot. Unfortunately, what seems at first like an exciting affair knocks her whole life plan off course. There's a reason she never mentions the father of her beloved daughter.
