After a raid of the Court of Owls property, The Bats and Birds find themselves with a new tool: A Talon. However they don’t seem to be interested in giving it orders, so what is an impatient Talon supposed to do other than make a nest and preen the only Owlet in the manor?
Aka an excuse to write an affectionate Dick Grayson mother-henning (err…Taloning) Damian and others. Also now with a lifetimes worth of expositions for no particular reason!

Summary
Jake is looking up at the ceiling, trying to find shapes in the mold that litters the walls, when two men walk in. They're wearing masks, and walk towards him with purpose. One of them steps around the chair Jake's in, and the other takes out his phone.
He's strapped to the chair with some sort of belt around his chest, his arms are bound to the chair's, and so are his legs, so he can't really move to see what the guy behind him is doing, and against his will, his heart rate skyrockets. A hand darts out from behind, wraps around his neck so tightly he sees stars, and the tip of a knife breaks the skin as it's pressed into his throat.
"Admiral Seresin," the man behind the camera says, and Jake's heart sinks right down to his toes, "you have exactly 48 hours to give us back our money, and our shipment, or your son dies."

Summary
Needing a fresh start, Bradley moves from his old childhood home in San Diego to a far away small town. It's nice enough, he supposes. The residents certainly have that small-town autumn charm going for them. His new next-door neighbor's pretty nice too.
What's less than nice is said neighbor's roommate, and his equally annoying orange cat.
