He chuckled as his heart sank, coming to a halt in front of the painted white front door. Thanks to the humidity around this time of the year, the old floor boards of the sloppily painted white porch were wet, making no extra sound as he dragged his feet up those stairs.
His heart sank more with every step, as his mind begged him to stop. Begged him to do the only thing he’s really good at. Turning around and running away.‘’If you won’t do it, I will.’’
