“I am to be held hostage?” he rasped, heart heavy and throat tight, “To be used against Achilles like... like a favored toy dangled over a misbehaving child?”

What the fuck? His laugh? No one liked his laugh. It was too much. Too loud, too in your face, too obnoxious. Tatum herself had told him several times how fucking annoying he was when he laughed.
That should have been Stu's first clue that these notes might not be coming from Tatum at all...
