Trinity tells him to fuck off, because it’s easier than admitting that she hates that she is again a person who has had a capital S Something happen to them.

Al-Hashimi laughed again, almost mockingly. The mean lilt of it was so far removed from the emotionless, hyper-professional image Santos had built of Al-Hashimi in her mind that it stunned her into silence.
