The Prompt "de-aged" Bucky - only whatever was used to de-age him, because of his super-soldier serum, brought him back to his 20- something self from the 30s/40s. And young, not brain-washed Bucky sees Tony, and turns into his young, charming, flirty self.

Bucky reluctantly comes back to the Tower with Steve and Sam, because he knows he needs help, but he has trouble reconciling post-Rebirth Steve with the Steve he grew up with, because he has way more (fragmented), memories of the latter, and there for is skeptical of him, but imprints like a duckling on Tony, because he has all sorts of memories of him, because Hydra ingrained what a threat he was, pre and post Afghanistan, so he is absolutely certain of Tony, especially because if Hydra hated him that much...

ST4 fix-it with a hand-wavey timeline and an extremely vague "everything's beautiful and nothing hurts" ending instead of the canon one. obviously, not canon-compliant with ST4, kind of compliant with the rest of the series, though the events of s1-3 aren't really discussed. featuring gnc eddie munson and MtF/transfemme steve (stella) harrington! there isn't really a plot, just an established relationship and some coming outs (one written, one to come) that features growing up, moving out, and building a life together. sappy, domestic, and painfully poetic at times.
