Summary
Kāi watched Chanyeol shift out of battle-mode intensely, lips parting slightly. As he exhaled, mist wove through his breath. “You wanna play with Kāi, like—like Yeøllie does?”
“Sure,” Chanyeol lied, hoping the shiver in his voice could be attributed to the biting cold instead of his swelling nerves. “I’ve always wanted to play with Kāi, too.”
On Christmas Day, Chanyeol is given the most important mission of his life in the Exo unit: Capture Kāi and deliver him to base alive. In order to prevent Kāi from teleporting, he has to get close enough to touch him. The only problem is that once Chanyeol starts touching Kāi, he isn't sure he's able to stop. Especially since Kāi is the first person he's ever been able to touch without burning their flesh.
