Lance turns to face the window and starts to work on removing his chest plate. "I don't know about you, dude, but I'm tired. Can we do this later?"
Lance hears what he can only call a growl behind him, and the hair rises on the back of his neck. His skin tingles and he has to bite down on the inside of his cheek to bring the sudden frenzy of thoughts to a stop. Wow, okay. That's… something. "Your 'later' is never."
"That works, too!" Lance chirps. The chest plate comes off, and he tosses it to the side with the others. He starts to fiddle with his belt, but Keith's next words have him freezing.
"Why did you kiss me?"

Summary
Keith was overjoyed when Lance decided to come help the Blades out with a mission and in turn chose to stay for longer, working along him and others to continue bringing peace to the galaxies.
He was also overjoyed with the chance to test the waters and see if maybe, just maybe, he and Lance could become more than just friends.
But then, unknowingly, Lance begins displaying mating signals in the Galran language. Habits, actions, et cetera, that has not just Keith, but everyone on the Blade base, taking notice.

Keith has no ties to Earth anymore, his mom is with the Blades, his newly-appointed team all depended on him, Hunk would go on his cuisine explorations and while Pidge and Shiro stayed at the Garrison, they always encouraged Keith to go on his own.
