It was a strange contrast to the emptiness that surrounded him, a quiet chaos that filled the void. Caelus stood motionless, letting the darkness enveloped him like a second skin. The cold water clawed at his bare back, while the warmth radiating from the small magma pool lapped at his front. The heat and cold warred across his body, a dissonant embrace.
