Summary
When Scott says that the cold doesn't bother him, he does mean it. He's used to the cold, and he far prefers it to the heat. Working under the sun, sweating, uncomfortable hotness; he'll take the cold any day.
It's just that the ice magic that has awakened within him is extremely cold. All of the time. No matter what he does.
It seems like Pyro has the opposite issue. Perhaps they can solve each other's problems.

Pyro killed Tim. But should he have? Scott's confident in the choice and supportive, but Pyro grows more and more wary as more people doubt him, as he doubts himself. Scott won't allow his egotistical friend-sort-of-lover to do that. Not when war is coming.
