Summary
Hybrids exist in the galaxy and unfortunately they are more often treated like animals and kept as pets. But not everyone views them as lesser.
Selene is a fox hybrid who swore she would never be someone's pet/companion. But one day, finding herself chained and ready to be sold, a shiny warrior of legend appears into her life.
In debted and loyal, she gladly chooses to become his companion, the laws requiring her to be collared if she wished to remain by his side. She happily accepted.
Years later they became close friends, Mando treating her like an equal. She helps by maintaining the ship and looking after the child while he hunts. Life was perfect.
At least...
She thought it was.
Feelings she thought she could hide start to surface, dragged out by the inconvenient timing of her monthly heat cycle, putting her into a awkward situation with Mando.
