    A single golden ray shone on a small yellow flower, six petals. Six represents imperfection. Six is the number of weakness and sins. Six petals, one shy of seven. Seven represents perfection. This flower strove endlessly for perfection. Six petals, seven souls. Again, one petal shy of perfection. The flower lay, wilted in the ray of light, barely shining into the underground. He needed the light, else he would surely die.

    Frisk visits Flowey in the underground and takes him up to see the surface much to Flowey's dismay.
    So much has changed on the surface in one year, monsters are a normal part of society now.
    Adjusting to the surface will be hard for Flowey but luckily Frisk and Toriel have his back.
