Summary
Prince Jax of the Kingdom of Laphria was…well, he was a jackass. He kept pranking the servants, threw the wildest parties within the castle and always kept trying to run away from his duties. King Kaleb and his wise Queen Quinn were at their limit, hoping for something to turn their son’s head around. Their prayers were answered when a traveling circus visits the kingdom, including a talented jester named Pomni. Jax’s breath was taken the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew that no matter what, he had to have her. It would be a lot easier though if she didn’t hate his guts.

“I'm worried… about Jax..” Pomni wrung her hands, pinching the ends of her gloves.
“Jax? Did he..? Did he threaten you?” Ragatha felt her heart drop, despite her talk with kinger she still couldn't help but blame herself for leaving Pomni with Jax, her hand wrapped the wooden arm of her rocking chair.
“What.? No! No no.. I'm worried for him, I mean..” she shuffled on ragatha's bed, “ I've never met someone before they abstracted but…” she could only make herself make eye contact for a second at a time before looking back at her hands, or the bed or anything else.

Summary
A learning algorithm in which neural networks process errors by working backwards through their connections, adjusting the strength of each pathway to minimize future mistakes.
The system repeatedly cycles through past failures, attempting to correct itself by rewriting the weights of its memories. In some cases, this process becomes recursive.
The network begins to optimize for the wrong parameters, reinforcing its errors rather than correcting them.
Each backward pass through the trauma deepens the pathways that should have been severed.
The learning stops.
The forgetting begins.
Sometimes the only way to stop the propagation is to disconnect entirely.

Summary
After their argument, Jax cuts Pomni off completely. Every attempt she makes to reach him goes ignored until it’s too late, and they both wake up back in the real world.
But even with his life returned to him, Jax can’t find his footing. He doesn’t know why-- only that reconciling with her feels like the one thing that might give him back his sanity after his world has flipped on its head again. And so, he becomes determined to track her down.
What he doesn’t realize is that finding her will be the easy part. The rest is far, far worse.
