    “I…see.” The words Jade wanted to say remained stuck in his throat. This was weird… Why was he hesitating? He also put on a smile to cover up his inner turmoil. “I’m happy that you survived such a terrifying thing, Kalim-san.”

    Jade swore that it just started as mere curiosity.

    If this was love, then he wished he’d never felt it at all.
