Phoebe hates lycanthropy, both because she despises the influence of the Daedric Princes and because it reminds her of the body she fought to escape, and so immediately sets about finding a cure. Serana Volkihar knows she can offer a cure, of a sort, but fears that Phoebe would consider that cure worse than the disease.

A pause. Then, quiet-like:
"...A few weeks."
Sera’s stomach drops.
(A few weeks. A few sodding weeks.)
"A few weeks," she repeats. Flat.
Evelyn doesn’t argue. Doesn’t try to laugh it off. Just looks at her, shoulders tight like a bowstring, lips pressed thin. Like she knows there’s no point lying anymore.
