Knockout’s optics glinted as he surveyed the grim setting of Kaon.
Grit and grime clung to every surface, and the air carried a distinct tang of metallic dust and fuel, reeking of everything he despised.
He’d been able to dodge trauma medicine for most of his internship, preferring cleaner, controlled environments where his immaculate finish would stay… well, immaculate.
But now, with only one option left, he had no choice.
He needed trauma experience if he ever wanted to earn the title of medical officer, so here he was, at the back entrance of the infamous Pits, waiting to meet the assistant medical officer Flatline.
The Pits were known for being brutal, where bots battled to the death as a rabid crowd roared from the shadows of the stadium.
Knockout shivered with disgust, casting a reluctant glance at the scuffed ground beneath him.
Why, why did it have to be here?
