Touka’s options were limited. Obviously she couldn’t tell Yoriko the truth of why she couldn’t digest her food, why she couldn’t even get any delight out of tasting it in the first place. Nor could she let Yoriko think that it was because of her food that Touka had ended up sick. It was not Yoriko’s fault, and Touka refused to let Yoriko feel bad about any of it.
