Mettaton and Tenna find themselves in the same limousine, where their first meeting takes a sharp left turn as they find themselves caught dead in the middle of an assassination attempt.

Summary
Life on the surface is painfully disappointing - far from how he dreamed it to be. Fame as he fantasized it is elusive, humans are dull and petty, and Mettaton finds himself drifting in a lonely haze, unintentionally distancing himself from family and friends alike.
A glitch in reality offers a reprieve of sorts when it sends him tumbling down into a wonderland beyond his wildest dreams, ruled by a familiar TV, who seems hellbent on keeping him close by... even if it means keeping Mettaton ignorant and distracted by his own fantasies and deepest desires.
Everything seems perfect.
But the longer he stays, the harder it is to navigate through the twisting maze of TV World’s streets and see past Tenna’s glamorous illusions and extravagant gifts in search of a way home.
Mettaton isn’t sure if he even wants to leave anymore, or if the decision is still his own.

Tenna’s screen came on in a flash and a soft pop. For a moment, he lay there, stunned as the sensations and lingering heat began to fade bit by bit. The pressure of his bed at his back was real, as were the soft sheets covering him. He stared up at his ceiling and the glow stars he’d stuck on there ages ago.
It was a dream.
Thank god… Tenna sighed in relief, before it began to give way to a sinking realization and a burning shame. Oh god, I just had a wet dream about one of my employees.

Maybe they should’ve picked somewhere more secluded for this tryst, seeing that three technicians just walked by, unaware of who lingered in an alcove behind the curtains. Or waited until the credits rolled, like reasonable adults. But those red flags added fuel to his arousal. So did Tenna rocking into him (he seriously installed that attachment before going on-air? How scandalous). And Mettaton rather liked discovering this audacious side of his co-host.
“You think we can finish before the commercials, darling?” he murmured.
“Wanna find out, doll?”
They have five minutes until they’re back on-air. Tenna doesn’t want to wait and Mettaton is not complaining one bit.
