Katsuki is 5 when everything starts to turn sour. He had gotten into a fight with another kid, it wasn’t his fault. The kid had pushed him down. And he got back up. He got back up because if he was going to be the number one hero he had to get back up. His mother is called into the school. She looks at him.. wrong.

The Bakugou’s had never been affectionate, Katsuki knows this and doesn’t mind it. It’s normal after all.

Summary
Todoroki Shouto’s life purpose is to slaughter the faeries living under All Might’s rule in the other side of the lake near his village. Or at least that’s what his father believes he has to do, even though Shouto —like all the other villagers— is completely unperturbed by their existence, even having met a few faeries while hunting in the forest. Still, his father’s plan is for him to attack on January, the date of his twenty-first birthday. Until one day near summer’s end, he meets in the forest a faerie called Izuku that sets him free of his father’s will.
