Summary
Steve shows up on Eddie's doorstep, bloody, shaking, and silent. They were barely even friends, only talking when they both hung out with the kids, but how could Eddie turn him away when he looked like that? He wanted to ask what happened, but something distant in Steve's eyes told him that Steve wouldn't spill that secret tonight.
