Kintsukuroi (“golden repair”): the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold; embracing its scars and making it even more valuable than before.
Vanessa is finally free, and with that freedom comes the crushing guilt of everything she’d done.
But after an act of impulsiveness leads to her taking in the young boy who’d saved her and his animatronic companion, she finds herself having something worth living for again.(Sequel to my previous fic!)
EDIT 26/11/25: This fic is currently undergoing renovations!! I decided that I wasn't totally satisfied with some parts of older chapters anymore, so expect some partial rewrites to those dropping in the coming days/weeks, along with maybe some minor changes to the fic summary and tags! :)
