Summary
[Premise]:
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for 10 real-time years.
Right at the end of a Genocide run after destroying Axis, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover aborts it.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of determination, the save file gets damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself up by 10 years.
Clover has the memories from the last journey they just went through, a few fragments of the other routes, and a vision of a certain laboratory.
The fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.
This is their final shot.

Summary
The story is focused around slow progression of relationship between Mal0 and first person protagonist Anon.
Since most information about Mal0 is [REDACTED], there is a lot of artistic freedom to invent the reason behind her existence. I'm trying to stay true to the rules of the bond she has with her host while creating some new ones to spice things up.
Anon slowly uncovers the mystery behind his love-deprived stalker who yearns for nothing more than a friend, learns to accept her into his life and maybe someday... goes a little further than that.Two years ago, I couldn't find a single, long, fully fleshed out romantic story that wasn't half done and abandoned, so I began writing one. Initially, it was just for myself but since I already wrote a big chunk of it and I'm confident in finishing it, I thought I might start posting it here. Maybe someone will enjoy reading it as much as I do writing it :)
The first chapters might go through some revisions once I'm finished, to match the writing style of later chapters (I've been writing this for 2 years with pauses), but the core will remain the same.Bookmarked by B0uny
