She let out a deep sigh, ears drooping low as her thoughts caught back up to her. No one would notice if she disappeared. Not Nene-chi, not Lamy, and certainly not Shishiro.
It wasn’t that she wanted to die, not really, she just didn’t want to exist, didn’t want to be Omaru Polka the happy-go-lucky clown anymore. She wanted to be free from the shackles of expectation and wanted someone to see her. The real her.

Zoey hummed, doing another turn, another scan of their surroundings.
"Y'think so?"
Rumi shifted her hands in a stretch–Zoey saw Mira's scowl harden, grip tightening on her gokdo–as the woman straightened her arms over her head. The hem of her crop-top lifted slightly, a sliver of pale flesh flashing in Zoey's periphery, teasing just above the waistline of her pants.
Zoey definitely didn't stare.
Too much, anyways.
"I know so," Rumi answered after a moment, shaking her arms out. "Spiro wanted you dead."
And then she shot Zoey a smirk, and that look was all tongue and teeth and promise.
"But I've got more use for you alive."

Zoey jumps with a scream but she doesn’t react as strongly as Mira who fully shoves herself into Zoey’s arms and nearly makes the younger girl collapse and drop to the hard wood. Zoey only staggers and swears, her legs shaking.
or. The housing market is a shit show. when you find a gothic mansion in your price range you buy it. no matter what.
