Summary
Din hopes that Grogu will continue to say no to the call of the Jedi; that the pair of them can find some quiet corner in the universe to shuck their respective responsibilities to the world and live a happy life eating fish eggs and farming some land.
It won’t happen, they’re both too beholden to their histories and to their futures for that, but he carries the hope anyway.
So this job, this long boring job hauling this not-Resistance-spy Poe across the galaxy is a welcome one.

Summary
It is by complete accident that Din even sees the poster. He's sat outside a restaurant on his bike, hanging low on the handlebars, scrolling through his phone when a piece of slightly-sodden paper adheres itself to his helmet.
'Martial Arts for Toddlers', the page advertises. 'A great way for any child to learn self-defence, meditation, physical and social development, or to let off some energy!'

Summary
In another universe where Din Djarin (reluctantly) remains the Mand'alor and Paz Vizsla (enthusiastically, only somewhat maliciously) decides to support him, ancient Mandalorian wedding traditions return in full force when Din abruptly shows up with the Last Jedi as his new spouse.

Summary
Luke looks up from his computer at the knock on his office door, and blinks in surprise when he sees Mando there, looking… unsure.
“Can I talk to you?”
“Of course.” Luke says, leaning back in his chair. Mando looks extremely pained as he opens his mouth.
“Luke.” He says, looking as if it took every inch of his self discipline to drag out the single syllable of Luke’s name, “- I need your help.”
“Try saying it like you aren’t getting a lobotomy.”
“Grogu wants to celebrate Christmas this year.” Mando says, evenly. “But I don’t know the first thing about Christmas.”
Whatever Luke was expecting it wasn’t that.
“Uh. What?”
“I didn’t celebrate Christmas as a kid." Mando looks increasingly frantic, “-you said you had perfect Christmases, what am I supposed to do?”
-
Din Djarin has never celebrated Christmas before in his life, and yet has an extremely precocious kid who wants to.
Faced with the humiliation of exposing his failures as a parent to his family and friends, he instead turns to the one person whose opinion of him probably can’t get any lower…. and vice versa.
He's hoping for a Christmas miracle, but he might get more than he bargained for.Bookmarked by BaliBoo

Summary
Pugsley Addams stood in the middle of a road in front of what looked to be a cafe, a large black duffel bag over one shoulder, and a letter in hand. His heart was pounding in his ears, electricity pulsing through his veins.
At the end of the school year, Eugene Ottinger had asked Pugsley Addams if he’d like to visit him over break. At his house. Like friends do.
Pugsley, in his 15 years of life, had never made friends with another human being (or, well, not any living human being), so the very concept of someone wanting to see him, enjoying his company enough to invite him to hang out, was completely foreign.
Or
Pugsley Addams has never had any (living) friends.
Eugene Ottinger has never had any (non-insect) friends.
Then they spend their summer together.
Chaos, shenanigans, and trauma bonding ensue.Bookmarked by BaliBoo
