Summary
Periscope Music started as a way to express my frustration with the limitations put on V and Judy’s nascent romance in Cyberpunk 2077. I was entranced, I needed to know more, and I wanted them at the center of the whole story. So I tried to make them both main characters, searching for depth and authenticity as they fall in love. Later it became an exploration of how distance and reflections show us who we are. Some things can be too close to see properly, especially ourselves. Here, Judy and V learn from having space, and time, and especially caring people around them.
