Summary
Kaoru found himself watching the new guy with a pleasant but sudden heat in his veins. Nanjo was tall, sort of gangly but with broad shoulders. His dark green hair was choppy and fell just above his eyes in a stubborn ‘no mom I won’t get it cut’ kind of way. He was so wrapped up in the music and it was almost like it had taken over him. His long fingers pounded away at his bass before his eyes opened and he smiled back at Hiromi before his gaze drifted to Kaoru. Kaoru could feel the passion flowing forth as he and Hiromi collaborated, and it slowly took over him as well.
Kaoru felt the flush to his cheeks and he stubbornly turned back to face the wall in front of him. He wasn’t ever going to entertain the idea of finding a bandmate attractive ever again.
