Summary
It was so strange, the vanishing of Alicia’s scars.
What was stranger, still, was the appearance of similar marks on you.

Summary
Gustave wakes with a choking gasp. Cold stone under his cheek, blood on his tongue. He was supposed to die, but he's still alive. Somehow. Whole and unharmed and utterly alone.
His miraculous survival means nothing if he can't get back to Maelle and the others before he gommages. With too many questions and too few answers, Gustave must navigate the Continent alone while fighting his own demons. He has to find Maelle, whatever the cost. But doubt and despair are difficult foes to fight when there's no one by your side.

Summary
Lost and injured, you stumble upon the path of Expedition 33 at the edge of The Forgotten Battlefield.
Cursed with a head injury, your state of amnesia makes things difficult. But this curious bunch seem willing enough to take you in under their wing.
With nowhere else to go, you journey with them towards the Monolith, searching for answers: about yourself, the Gommage, and why you—unlike the others—don’t seem to disappear with age.

Summary
[SPOILERS!]
You are a loved one from borrowed memories, a flicker of salvation, a source of devastating desire; you're a fragment of the man who loved his music, loved his paintings, loved him, and yet you, too, are merely a painted copy of what Verso never had.
Real or fake, you are prepared to live and die for him.
But when the Chroma settles and the Canvas falls into the hands of an idealistic tyrantess, maybe sharing in replicant emptiness is liberation; perhaps you can reminisce together, guiltlessly dream of time shared in life and death, ponder the silver-linings of a miserable future.
Maybe you'll whisper of ways to make it all disappear, too.
