It started as a fling. Actually it started as a bet. Way back in fifth year, Sirius and Snape were trapped in detention together under the careless supervision of Professor Slughorn. About twenty minutes into their punishment, Slughorn received a letter of invitation from an old friend at the WWN and left them alone for the remainder of the evening because an RSVP won’t answer itself.
The fling was short and sweet, but then it lingered in his mind. This was not supposed to happen. Sirius never had troubles letting go of his many partners, but for some reason he just can't stop thinking about Snivelly.
So when he saw her at Birmingham, he couldn't help but follow her.
