But as he meets others who took the bargain, is attacked by evil space bugs that definitely want him dead, and learns about about the self-proclaimed mascot's powers, scientific curiosity leads him to engage in a battle of wits and wants that goes deeper than he ever imagined.

    There is shameless fluff. Ridiculous amounts of shipping. Snarky comedy. Senkuu attempting to scientifically rationalise a magic system that works on the Power of Feelings. And burly men in classical Magical Girl outfits. What more could you want?
