She broke off, transfixed by the highlighter yellow sneakers planted in front of her desk. Yoonji’s eyes slid past the thin silver anklet on one of a pair of tanned, toned legs, leading up to a pleated light green skirt, belted over a purple polka-dotted blouse. But it was the unmistakable dimpled cheeks, bright red hair, and loud cheerful voice that made her promptly fall out of her chair and land on the floor in an undignified heap.
The girl gasped and held a hand out to help her up. Yoonji knew if she took it she’d combust out of embarrassment so she scrambled to her feet on her own, gaping at girl standing in front of her. There was no way she was talking to—
“—Jung Hosook,” she said, giving Yoonji a heart-shaped smile. “Today’s the last day you’re accepting Valentine’s Day commissions, right? I’d like to commission a poem from you!”
Yoonji needed no introduction. None at fucking all. Not for the girl she’d only been crushing on for years!
