Summary
“Why did we all get our memories back first?” Buggy blurts out, stopping to turn and stare at the now gaping Alvida. But he has to ask, has to know because nothing has made sense since he remembered but this hasn’t made sense the most of all. “Out of everyone who could have remembered first, out of Strawhat, Piratehunter, Shanks, Roger–literally anyone–why did we get our memories first.”
“Buggy-”
“Why did only the people who would want Straw-hat dead get their memories back?” Buggy throws his hands in the air with a laugh before moving them to hold the stirring spoon. “Don’t you think it’s odd?”

Shanks stared at him in the mirror. His dopey, sexed up smile seemed to sink into his skin, becoming something hollow and hard to read. His hands were on Mihawk’s shoulders and squeezing so hard Mihawk could feel the bones grinding against each other. He held his face stock still, watching the clouds in Shanks’ eyes gather, thick and heavy in the coming storm.Or, one time Mihawk dismissed Buggy, and three times he didn't.
Or, Shanks never stops chasing Buggy and Mihawk, but never quite lands them either. -
