Summary
They carefully step around the topic of what will happen to Connor's mind after he's traded. No one wants to think much about it, and despite having gone through the procedure himself, Freddie cannot draw from his own experience to reassure them. If he was put on the spot and asked to answer a question about where he lived in Anaheim—what his house looked like, who were his neighbours—he would not be able to do it. The league’s recall unit is very thorough in its removal of any memories that could interfere with their allegiance to a new organization. By the time Freddie stepped foot in Toronto, he couldn’t put a name to any face from the team that drafted him.
(AU where players’ memories are erased when they are traded to prevent sentimental attachments toward rival players)

Summary
While John took to the cameras and the press, Mo stood alone. It drew criticism from other players and graduates of the league, who know more than the average person about how they play down there. To them and their predisposed beliefs about the captaincy, Mo should be a fixture at John’s side and do so without complaint. It’s an opinion that’s shared by Leafs Management, who take every opportunity to pose them together for photographs, forcing something that isn’t there.
Unfortunately, someone needs to look out for the good of the team. Mo puts himself aside for their sake, as hard as it is. On nights like these, it’s thankless work.
(The Lightning’s triumph over the Toronto Maple Leafs isn’t the worst loss Morgan Rielly endures that evening.)

Summary
He tries not to think too much about the rumours and pictures of Nylander getting comfortable with other players but it's an itch he can't scratch. It might explain the cattiness he feels on ice when those looks are finally directed at him.

Summary
“Sorry about this,” he says, and then scoops Trevor up and carries him over to his truck easy as anything, as if he’s some bunny who weighs about a buck fifteen.
He might have to kill this guy and hide the body, because no one can find out that he got picked up bridal-style and tossed in the back seat like he’s about to let his date slide from second to third. The guys already give him enough shit for being pretty in the face – there’s no need to add fuel to their fire.

Summary
Justin nudges him. “What’s up with Soupy?”
Following his gaze, he sees the other goalie chasing players around the crease, poking at them whenever they get close. It’s nothing too far out of the ordinary—Jack is usually messing around with the defenders during warm ups, throwing chirps around and laughing at the ones thrown back at him—except for the fact that he’s completely silent.

Summary
The jerseys bigger than his own and he knows what he’s going to find even as he turns it around.
He licks his lips, heart hammering in his chest.
The familiar material is cool against his skin as he slips it on. The sleeves come down over his hands, the collar hanging loose. The bottom of the jersey hits him mid thigh, the press of his cock against it indecent. Freddie’s name is a brand across his shoulders, his number against his back staking his claim.Series
