The words are bitter and Bagi feels silly for being so blatant, but this has to work. She doesn't know what's happening with the eggs, but she knows what prolonged high fever does to a body. They need help now, and she will do whatever it takes to get them it.

Summary
It felt a little like a Deja Vu because Fit had that same something in his eyes that made Roier’s skin itch. The thing was, there was this little book. They couldn't tell him where they found it, but there was this little book, and it had something they thought Roier should see.
Roier guesses something inside him already knew that book would change everything because his hands were shaking when he took it from Fit. It was like any other book he had ever seen on the island before, if a little roughed up, and it obviously had been tampered with. There were numerous pages missing and huge chunks of text blacked out, but it still was just a little book.It had no right to change everything like that.
Or the one where Roier has to face reality. Recovery is not something linear, nor is grieving, and sometimes people have to be their worst to deal with it.

“Sleep well, Pepe. We’ll be up early tomorrow” and he’s out of the room in a flash, closing the door behind him. He takes a moment against the heavy wood surface, his heart beating so hard inside his chest that he thinks it could break his ribs. He’s nauseous, so he slaps a hand against his mouth to try to stop the bile from coming out.
He wasn’t ready for this, and Roier usually can take anything thrown at him on strike. It was just a little word, it doesn’t really mean anything. Pepito probably was just sleepy and confused Roier for someone else for a bit. It doesn’t have to mean anything, it doesn't. It’s just that… Fuck, how long has it been since anyone called him that? Bobby has been dead for more than two years by now, and Richarlyson usually just calls him Pa. He knows it’s stupid, but it was their thing, and he doesn’t think he would ever be ready to face it again out of another egg.
He needs to leave.

Summary
As the trolley passed through Victory Square, Tubbo noticed posters almost as large as the buildings themselves being plastered along brick walls. The words, ‘THEIR SINS HAVE BEEN CLEANSED! MEET YOUR PURGATORY VICTORS TODAY!’ were plastered across the top in bold letters. Then, beneath this were the pictures used to promote Baghera and Cellbit before Purgatory began.
It was nothing like how they’d been in Purgatory itself. Tubbo thought back to the footage that played across the TV screens: the zoom-in the cameras had done on Baghera’s blood-spattered face, the way the revving chainsaws almost sounded louder than their victims screams, how the camera suspiciously cut away from Cellbit after he killed another player, and later showed him with blood staining the corners of his mouth-
For the first time since Bagi showed up at his apartment that day, Tubbo began to worry about what they were going to find when they got to Cellbit’s hospital room.

Summary
Vegetta had always held the false hope that he might have a choice in who he married. It was a hope of romance, but it was one he never should have entertained. Now, faced with the imminent death of his father and the responsibility of carrying on that legacy, the choice of a lifelong companion had to be rushed, and it had to be correct. No pressure, as long as he could keep the marriage amiable at the very least.
Foolish had never held much hope for anything, fifth in line for his own land’s leadership and a cast out of society at that; His existence, for most of his life, had been a mere footnote. Being sent away to marry into the crown family on the mainland had never been a thought in his mind until it happened. Told to keep their lands peaceful to each other, while hiding a shameful secret of his own, the risk of shaming his family and people even more than he already had is a looming thought.
Both, with no other choice, decided to do the best they could given the circumstances.
Circumstances are inclined to change, however, and secrets between lovers can never stay secrets for long.
