    His joyous grin faded however as he came to the start of the road… everywhere looked like it had been boarded up and abandoned, was there truly no one here? A ghost town?

     

    He slowly walked down the road looking at all the buildings as any hope and joy he felt at maybe getting some answers and help faded, replaced with that cold dread that had filled him as soon as he woke up in that clearing.
