“That’s so fucking weird dude. Roz’s ‘Jane’ is in Montreal. What are the odds those fuckers have girls in each other city’s. That would be next level rivalry, man."

Summary
A sudden attack on the Squads during what seems to be the final moments of a televised contest known as "The Long Walk" grants the last two men standing, Ray Garraty and Billy Stebbins, a chance that each of the eliminated walkers had prayed for prior to buying their tickets; a way out.
They are forced into learning to live with each other while hiding away from the Squads. Tension builds between Garraty and Stebbins when they are offered a chance to be recruited into the rebellious force that orchestrated their rescue.
